About The Artist, Linda Southern

Turning written paper into art, Linda Southern has been nationally admired for her beautiful calligraphy for more than 30 years.

As a young girl from Germany, she was inspired early on by her elders and particularly by her father. To this day she cherishes one of the few remaining mementos from her father which is a personal letter featuring his unique writing style. Destined to develop her inherent gift, Linda began studying calligraphy in the evenings while her children were very young. Her love for the form soon turned into mastery as her art has been acclaimed by countless clients as “one of the best” they have ever seen.

Featuring a magnificent range of flourishes, designs, and artistic ability, Linda has earned the admiration of many with her written creations. Although her marvelous talents are predominately captured on wedding invitations, envelopes, place and table cards, she has created many specialized certificates, announcements and awards.
